Don't lick one hundred envelopes: The safest way to seal your invitations is to use a glue stick. If you use a water sponge, you risk getting important cards wet and wiping the adhesive away. We provide glue sticks to our clients so there are no accidents a la Seinfeld or paper_cut tongues. Don't lick __ use a glue stick!
If you are using an inner envelop and outer envelope, the fully assembled invitation suite should be placed into the inner envelope, so when the envelope flap is opened, the printed side of the invitation is visible. Then, insert the inner envelope face_up into the outer envelope. The handwritten guest names on the inner envelope should be visible when the outer envelope is opened. If you are using just an outer envelope, insert the fully assembled invitation suite into the envelope. You should see the printed side of the invitation when the envelope flap is opened.
