It's very important to know how many guests will be attending your wedding, so make sure to leave enough time to get back those RSVP cards early. A standard rule of thumb is to order 10% more extra envelopes than you think you may need. This will come in handy if your calligrapher accidentally makes a mistake while addressing the invitations. Save a few extra invitations to keep as mementos for yourself and close relatives.
Book your stationery vendor and place order for desired stationery items. Send your deposit to the stationer. Provide the stationer with wording for your invitation set and any other items that you order. Review proofs for invitation set and any other stationery items. Get the mailing address from each invited guest.
