It's very important to know how many guests will be attending your wedding, so make sure to leave enough time to get back those RSVP cards early. A standard rule of thumb is to order 10% more extra envelopes than you think you may need. This will come in handy if your calligrapher accidentally makes a mistake while addressing the invitations. Save a few extra invitations to keep as mementos for yourself and close relatives.
Follow up with guests who have yet to respond (about two weeks prior to wedding date). Address your wedding announcements. Assign someone the responsibility of sending the wedding announcements either on the day of the wedding or the day after. Inform your bridal party with details on the rehearsal. The rehearsal dinner host should send rehearsal dinner invitations to the guests.
