Call calligraphers to view work samples and discuss their fees. Book a calligrapher or ask a friend to assist you with your calligraphy needs. Provide a complete guest list with addresses and envelopes to whoever is addressing the invitations. If applicable, provide calligrapher with seating cards and table number cards.
Avoid using abbreviations. Refrain from using the word "and" between two names if the individuals are not married. Names of non_married hosts should be stacked. Hosts who are widowed should be addressed according to their late husband's name (i.e., Mrs. Andrew Scott). Ditch the reception cards if the ceremony and the reception are to take place in the same location.
